Default Guild Wars accout banned?

Hy, guys, i started this because, im feeling kind of disapointed of what happened to me since yesterday i got a message that tells me i've been banned due to a breach in the User Agreement....This ban is permanent. (Code=045)...Reason=???...I'm not a cheater, i'm not using any kind of hacking program or boting system...i'm realy realy disapointed on what arena net has done to me...cause from the begining i was happy on what work they do there and like this game too much.

What is going on...i dont understand what i have done cause i really am verry confused with this matter.

I wrote a question at support page at guildwars.com but still no explanation on what happened to my account!

Still, i do this thread public..that everybody knows that even the perfect system of Guild Wars make mistakes and mess up with peoples feelings and taughts.

I read some forums and some dudes have had the same problem as me and they had resolved the issue when they contacted Gaile Gray.

I don't know what to do next. I'm in black out!
Manny of my guildies can confirm that i'm a good player and dont use cheats and nothing like that, even that i spend a lot of my time farming in UW and FoW...but hey is farming a reason for being banned from a game? Where is it written that?

I hope frome heart that my problem it is solved.

The only way to get your account back (or try to) is keep bugging Anet support.

They know the reason why they banned you (any idea's?) and to keep talking with them to try and resolve it.

If it was farming they may of mis-id you as a bot farmer (for real money purchase) if you fit the pattern.

Basically keep bugging them. If your innocent, you stand a chance (make them re-look at your situation) to get your account back, if there is something your not telling us (I don't make judgement) there not going too.

The problem is that the same issue, in the same day had a guild mate.
The only thing i did not said is that i bought a preoder package from a store in Romania...and i have paid the full release in that day ~30$ per full release...firstly they gave me a key that i used for PVE Event on March...and yesterday i got banned...
Is it a posibility that the retailer gaved me a fake key...??? I realy dont know??

Hey, Achille is in my guild and im surpirsed that he got his account banned. At first i tought it was a prank or something , but now it seems its for real. Now of they would bann u on purpose they would give u the reasons. Since there are no reasons then im sure there is a mistake. I truly hope Guild Wars Support is goingto fix this . Achilles is a great player(even tho hes sometimes a noob), he contributes to our community alot, please let him get his account back. There are scammers who get away with scamming, and innocent people who get banned.

Seems a little ironic that Achille gets banned for apparently nothing, yet no action (that we know of) has been taken against the obvious bot farmers you can stroll down to elona reach and spot in seconds.

He does not have a 55 monk. He farms UW with Necro. Its easy to stand back and relax but in this case, its not easy to have ur account with over 110 ectos and 61 shards (little more and got FoW) be gone. Over 1900hrs played . ITs pretty sad .

One question if they would bann wouldnt they state the reason of banning?

As further investigation was made on my account the last result was:

Hello Christian,

Thank you for contacting us again.

We do not allow players to trade in-game items for items with real world value (including real money). To do so is to break our rules. This rule is very important to us.

We have game logs that record the activities of players. These game logs indicate that your character violated our rules. Your character was involved in activities that are connected to trading in-game items for real world money. This is why the account was permanently closed.

We will not allow Guild Wars items to be sold for real world money. The account was terminated because these rules are so important to us. We will not re-open the account.

Regards,

- GM Sannio
Senior Game Master

Edit: I think this is not what arena want to do, to ban innocent people.

I assume based on the lack of freaking out that you did indeed engage in that activity?

If so, you have no recourse other than to buy a new version of Factions or GW and start fresh following the rules.

Um, man if u did this u cant complain...breaking the rules WILL get you banned....so dont break the rules.

If not i guess u can email them back saying that you didnt do it, but im pretty sure they have evidence that you did.

At times there are many people that think that lying about events such as this creates a situation to help make it look like they are innocent when they have actually "done the dirty deed."

In wanting to escape their punishment the lies can become extravagant in which they lie to everyone around them as well in attempt to seem more believable.

Unfortunately, if you are telling the truth about the ordeal you will be lumped in with the liars that try to worm their way out of their discipline if your account is innocent and your behavior only happened to mirror an e-Bay trader.

Don't think you can disclaim breaking the EULA that you agreed to when you install the game after you have already agreed to it BEFORE you ever even earn any gold/items to sell in the first place. Those disclaimers are a nice attempt to get around what is really happenning anyhow though.

Good Lord, obviously i can't prove that im innocent only with the words i say that i did not engage that kind of fraeking trade...and why is that? Simply cause i'm a honnest persson i have a real work in my life so i have the money i need. I'm forced to point some aspects:

1. The only thing that concern me is that A.Net don't show me any prove (like a screen shot...or a log book...or somethig) in which they incriminate me. This is so obvious that i did'n do anythig. In any case, even if, in my mind was this ideea to sell in-game items for real money (wich is not true) how in the world that i can be guilty about that? Simply because thinking of the ideea is not equal with the fact that acting in that direction.
In other words, i repeat, (even is true, wich isn't) that thinkig of something you want to do but NOT DOING IT, is not the same like thinking of something you want to do and you REALY DO IT.
In any case this is beyond of my taught and i'm realy convinced that this guys made a very BIG mistake with me, closing my account.
2. Another ipotese, in the case that they have recorded my characters activities, is the fact that MAYBE i had been talking on a TRADE channel about something like that and they had recorded that as a TRUE fact, but also is an outrageous ipotese (simply cause i know me). How can i know if a person that i do trade with is a "clean " person or he sell "Bulwark" on e-bay...huh? I even dont have an account on ebay. Cmon this is just BS.
I'm too tierd to make new replys to guild wars support page, yet cause i didn't do anything like they reffered that i did.
3.What i'm gonna do now, cause i already bought the Preorder GW Faction, and the box is on my desk? To register my brand new Game GW Faction, and sudden they ban me again, no sir...i realy don't think so... Man I'm working for my money, i'm not a thief, a jackass or anythig like that.

Sorry guys if i make u trouble but also thanks that u posted here and encouraged me in the first time.

I admit that i had in my storage 110 ectos and 61 shards and about 200k gold as a fact that i was a very good farmer maybe too good for Arena Net. That materials and money are in my storage just waiting to buy the fissure armor on my Necromancer or Ritualist.
So howcome, i have money in storage but i sell items for real money, it doesnt' fit, don't u agree?

There have been threads on this here numerous times. The people who get their accts back are the one who persist with emails until the mistake is corrected. After so many emails, the incident goes a notch up the food chain and eventually is addressed by a human being.

Probable cause is that your in-game character name was also the name of one of the GW money-for-sale websites at some time. Instead of tracing accounts, they decided to trace player names.

Strange it is that in aproximative same day a friend of me has been banned for the same reason and he got hid account back in an almost 1 day...Isn't this strange that we got banned in the same day and for same reason.
I dont accuse anyone for anythig....but i just sustain my cause ...this is all.
